Our intensive English language homestays are organized at Minoo & Michael's home, a cozy English-style house. The house is in a quiet and peaceful location in the English countryside, and only a ten-minute walk from the historic 11th Century town of Rye, where you can relax after an intensive day of English courses.

Your room is large and comfortable and fully equipped with a desk, CD player/radio, television and DVD player, private bathroom (washbasin, shower and toilet), and free 'Wi-Fi' connection to the Internet for your laptop.
You will love the cozy dining room, where you will have many varied and delicious meals from all over the world while engaging in fascinating conversations with your teachers. Mealtime conversations with your teachers are an integral part of your intensive English language homestay, as they give you the opportunity to put everything you have learned in your lessons into real practice.
The town of Rye is the ideal place for your English language homestay. It offers many delightful features: Ypres Tower (the castle), the medieval church, beautifully preserved historic houses from Medieval, Tudor and Georgian times, cobbled streets, antique shops, art galleries, book shops, potteries, and also a myriad of tea-rooms, pubs and restaurants where you can enjoy locally made foods.
For the sports enthusiasts, the town offers a Sports Center with an indoor swimming pool, fitness center, squash and badminton courts. The Rye golf club is only a few kilometers outside the town. You can also enjoy walking or jogging along quiet footpaths near the house or at the Rye Harbor Nature Reserve, or cycling to the nearest sandy beach (Camber Sands) only a few kilometers away. And for the adventurers among you, the Lydd Aero club (who are our partners in offering our aviation courses) can organize a breath-taking flight for you to see the Southeast of England from the air.
For those whose English language homestay includes a weekend or two, there are many interesting towns to be discovered nearby, all easily accessible by train: Hastings, Winchelsea, Battle, Brighton, Canterbury, and of course London , which is only 2 hours away by train.
Rye is easily reached:
- By air (Gatwick, Heathrow or Stansted). We can organise your personalised pick up at any of these airports, or you can take the train.
- By train: The Eurostar (www.eurostar.com) from Paris , Calais & Lille to Ashford International (maximum journey time 2 hours from Paris), and from Ashford International to Rye (25 minutes). We can also organise your personalised pick-up from Ashford, or from Ebbsfleet International.
- By car: Eurotunnel (www.eurotunnel.com) from Calais to Folkstone (35 minutes), and from Folkstone to Rye (35 minutes).
