Michael & Minoo Short welcome you to Dialogue-Angloscene Centre in TAMPA, Florida, USA.
Michael and Minoo each have over 25 years of experience in coaching people of different nationalities and professional backgrounds in English communication skills. Michael and Minoo are both licensed Life Coaches.
Minoo has a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences. She also holds the Cambridge Teaching English as a Foreign Language Diploma (TEFL), qualifying her as an English teacher and teacher-trainer. Minoo has been Course Director at a number of English language schools in Asia and Europe. Her interests include foreign languages, social affairs, health and fitness.
After an exciting career in international political affairs, Michael became the Director of Studies in an English language school in Iran in 1980. Since then he has been mainly involved in directing English language programmes. He is widely travelled and his hobbies include information technology, science, aviation, astronomy and sailing.
Michael and Minoo have been organising intensive one-to-one English immersion courses since 1999, and you can trust their expertise to provide you with a tailor-made intensive English course with guaranteed results.

Our English courses are organised at Minoo & Michael’s home, a cosy American-style house. The house is in a quiet, peaceful and secure location. On-site facillities include two swimming pools, jacuzzies and a modern fitness center.
Your room is comfortable, with a walk-in closet and fully equipped with a desk, CD player/radio, television and DVD player, private bathroom (washbasin, shower, bath and toilet), and a ‘Wi-Fi’ connection to the Internet for your laptop.
All lessons are one-to-one and tailored to your specific needs. They focus simultaneously on:
- Improving precise aspects of the language (comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation…)
- Improving oral or written communication skills in a specific field (banking, insurance, environment, business...)
We welcome a maximum of two or three students a week in Tampa. This is to ensure full personalisation also outside the lessons. The coaching team consists of Michael and Minoo as well as other qualified and experienced teachers with extensive training in our personalised and effective coaching method.
