Carmen and Julian are both 47 years old, with two teenage children. Carmen has a degree in Romanic Philology from the University of Valladolid. A qualified secondary school language teacher, she taught French in state schools in Spain for four years, and has been a teacher of Spanish as a foreign language for over twenty years. She speaks four languages, and recently obtained a professional proof-reader qualification. Julian has a degree in Mathematics and works in the export department of a company in Barcelona. In their spare time they enjoy reading, going to the cinema and travelling.

Our Spanish courses are organised at Carmen & Julian's home, located in a residential area, twenty kilometres from the centre of Barcelona. At an altitude of more than 200 meters, you will enjoy magnificent views over Barcelona, and spectacular sunsets and sunrises.
Your room is comfortable and fully equipped with a desk, radio, direct dial out telephone and private bathroom (washbasin, shower and toilet). and a Wi-Fi connection to the Internet for your laptop.
All lessons are one-to-one and tailored to your specific needs. They focus simultaneously on:
- Improving precise aspects of the language (comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation...)
- Improving oral or written communication skills in a specific field (banking, insurance, environment, business...)
We welcome a maximum of three students a week in Barcelona. This is to ensure full personalisation also outside the lessons. The teaching team consists of highly qualified and experienced teachers with extensive training in our personalised and effective coaching method.
